About Us

Click to enlarge In October 2008, the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI) launched the Motor Cycle Industry Trainers Association (MCITA) – an Association dedicated to serving the diverse needs of motorcycle rider trainers and companies engaged in all types of training, including off-road and track days. With safety as the number one item on MCI’s agenda, this was a natural and important extension to the member base.

Legislation changes have impacted the UK motorcycle training industry dramatically and now more than ever, a strong voice is needed to represent its needs.

Recently the MCI was instrumental in the negotiations with the DSA that secured a 6 month delay of 2DLD and leads the consultation groups that are shaping the third stage of licence upgrades (3DLD).

With unique links to motorcycle manufacturers and key positions on most EU ACEM Committees, we are a strong and respected industry influencer within National Government and the European Union.

Members can also take advantage of a comprehensive and attractive benefits package designed to cut essential business costs and encourage growth, with the support of a full time team of industry specialists to assist with business issues and queries.
